Ryne Strom discovered the art of magic early and was bitten by the magic bug at a young age. Guided and inspired by esteemed mentors such as Terry Evanswood (Ryne’s uncle) and Marshall Brodien (Wizzo from the Bozo Show), his fascination quickly evolved into a lifelong calling. A defining moment arrived when he attended the touring spectacle of Harry Blackstone Jr. and was invited onstage where Blackstone made a birdcage vanish from Strom’s fingertips. In that instant, the path was set. Strom would dedicate his life to the wonder of magic.
Since then, Strom has carried that sense of astonishment across the globe, crafting story driven, family-friendly performances that captivate audiences of all ages. His work seamlessly blends theatrical storytelling with moments of pure impossibility, creating experiences that linger long after the curtain falls. Most recently, he toured nationally with the chart topping band AJR, performing for sold-out crowds in legendary venues including Madison Square Garden.
Strom’s expansive career includes high-profile appearances and magic consulting for major networks and platforms including ABC, NBC, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Disney and more. Behind the scenes, he has collaborated with legendary duo Siegfried and Roy’s protege Darren Romeo, lending his expertise in illusion to their acclaimed stage productions.
Beyond the spotlight, Strom is deeply committed to using magic as a force for good. His most rewarding work is with the Red Nose Docs of Healthy Humor, bringing moments of joy, laughter and comfort to children’s hospitals in Southern California. In the hospitals, he creates small miracles for those who need them most.
Strom is not only a revered magician, but also a proud member of the Magic Castle for over 15 years, representing this iconic institution at numerous exclusive events in Los Angeles. Whether delivering an intimate, comedy infused performance, or commanding the stage with grand scale illusions, Strom continues to enchant audiences, inviting them to believe in the impossible.
